Pledge cards for our annual Stewardship Driveare currently being distributed. basket on Sundays. The final in-gathering celebration and blessing of the pledges will be on Sunday November 21.
People are required to wear a mask if they are unvaccinated. To protect yourself and to protect others, masks may be worn at any time, though not required for people who have been vaccinated. Please be considerate of others who have health concerns so we can all continue to worship together.
We share sad news with you about the loss of John LeClair, whose remains will be returned to North Dakota, and also the death of the oldest son of Don Strachota. We send prayers for comfort and strength to their families and friends.
We are doing an audit of all church keys. If you have any church keys, please bring them to the office or to Linda so they can be registered, or returned if you no longer need it. Thanks for your help with this procedure.

If you or someone you know might be interested in singing in our choir, please contact our interim Organist-Choirmaster, Paul Lee, by leaving a message in the parish office. We meet each week at 9:15 a.m. in the choir loft at the rear of the church when we rehearse the music for that service and then after church at 11:45 for 45 minutes to rehearse music for upcoming Sundays. Come to learn and lift your voices together.
Suggested donations for the Food Bank are boxed cereals, crackers.
Aluminum cans and clear plastic bottles for recycling may be brought to the Parish House and left in designated bins in the garage.
Walking on Wednesday will start on October 27. We will meet in the parking lot every Wednesday for a walk in the neighborhood. Walk will begin at 8:00 a.m.

Soup Kitchen will meet at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 28 in the Parish Hall.
The family of Don Lucas is planning a Celebration of Life at Noon on Saturday, October 30 in the ballroom of Leisure World.

Planning ahead - we will be having a congregational procession within the church to celebrate All Saints Day on Sunday November 7 at the 10:00 service. All Saints Day is a time to remember and give thanks for the contributions and sacrifices of all God's people, past and present. We have small photographs of saints and members, who have passed, that we carry in the procession. If you have a picture of your favorite saint or of a loved one no longer living and want to carry it in the procession, you are welcomed to do so.
The annual ECW Rummage Sale will be Friday and Saturday, November 19 & 20 in the Parish Hall. Set-up (sorting) begins November 1. Please bring items you wish to donate for the sale to the Parish Hall.
