With great sorrow, we share with you that our parishioner Fern Erickson died in Wisconsin on November 11thMay the peace of God be upon her.

Sunday School has made symbols to place on our Jesse Tree each Sunday of Advent: Isaiah 11: 1-2 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: and the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him. We model for children our belief that Old Testament stories are important to us in understanding who God is and how He comes to his people. The symbols on the Biblical family tree and Christ is grafted onto the family tree of Jesse, the father of the great King David.
