Altar Flowers are given today by Ruby Seyffert in celebration of the wedding anniversary of her granddaughter Jeni and Mark.

Please join us for coffee hour in the Parish Hall following both services. Come over and look at the new flooring, but we ask you not to walk on it yet.

We are completing our preparation for the nursery. If you are willing to help with running the nursery, please speak with Fr. Bob or Miriam Waddington.

Transfiguration Newsletter June edition is available  to pick up in the narthex, along with earlier copies if you missed one. Thanks to Dea Podhajsky for directing this publication and those who contributed articles.

Cursillo Weekend will be Thursday, September 5 through Sunday, September 8. Please see Fr. Bob if you are interested in attending this Christian renewal weekend.

The Vestry would like to encourage people with questions to call Dea Podhajsky, contact person for this month. Her phone number is (509)392-2053.

Members of The Lords Soup Kitchen encourage everyone to take a container of soup for your family or a shut-in that you know.

Instead of having a destination, Walking on Wednesday has changed its goal. We want to create a community where we walk together either physically or virtually  sharing our pictorial walking stories by taking pictures of our version of Flat Stanley - Flat Charlie aka Chillin’ Chile. Take a picture of you and Charlie, while traveling or in your summer community, and email it to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..  If you do not have a copy of Flat Charlie, pick one up on our bulletin board in the Parish Hall or Dea will email one to you.

In support of Brinton Elementary School, ECW has learned there is a current need for elastic waist shorts sizes 5-12 as well as underwear sizes 5-8 for boys and girls. Ongoing needs are anti-bacterial wipes, Kleenex and flushable toilet wipes.

Capital Campaign! Many generous people have already made a contribution. We have received $8,588.00 so far. With matching funds we now have $17,176.00. We have used $650.00 to add cement to the Parish House sidewalk. The kitchen floor was replaced on June 3 and 4. The cost of $4,227.00 included new flooring for the nursery and old office. Work has begun on a ramp into the Parish House. Thanks to everyone for what you have done so far! Please help us continue our projects.
