8:00 Godly Play Intergenerational Faith Formation led by Pastor Anne+

Godly Play is a contemplative approach to telling the stories of Jesus and the church, using Montessori teaching methods.

We will tell the stories of the church year, the parables, and the story of The Good Shepherd. All ages encouraged. 


9:00 HE Rite II with organ (one service only)


10:00 Coffee hour and “parlor games”

Coffee and some intentional fun thrown into the coffee hour mix.


Third Sundays at the 10:00 coffee hour 


June 29th: Root Beer Floats and Bad Dad Jokes and birthday celebrations

July 17th: Hymn Sing! and birthday celebrations

August 21st: Hymn Sing II! Same Song, Second Verse, a little bit louder a little bit worse! and birthday celebrations

Last Sunday of the summer schedule with ice-cream sundaes following the 10:00 a.m. Say goodbye to summer and hello to September and the return of our regular Sunday schedule, beginning September 11.

The Lord’s Soup Kitchen has Italian Vegetable with Ground Beef soup available. Many thanks to all of you who so faithfully donate your time and talents to make this delicious gift available.
Suggested donations next week for the Food Bank are canned fruits, puddings, gelatin.
Forward Day by Days (regular & large print) for February, March & April are available in the Narthex.
COVID Transmission rates in Pinal and Maricopa counties are HIGH. We strongly encourage everyone to follow CDC recommendations and continue wearing a mask in public indoor settings regardless of vaccination status. This includes wearing a mask during indoor worship services regardless of vaccination status. Masks are available at the back of the church.
Aluminum cans and clear plastic bottles for recycling may be brought to the Parish House and left in designated bins in the garage. Plastic bags may be left in the Narthex.

Upcoming Events
Walking on Wednesday on Wednesday, January 19 will meet at Prospector Park, 3015 N Idaho Road in Apache Junction. Take the second driveway and park at the end of the driveway on the dirt parking lot where the trails begin. We walk at various paces from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and enjoy lovely scenery and good conversation. For questions, call Ellen Jackelen, 218.407.0539.
Friday, January 21 at 10:00 a.m. will be a meeting of Book Club via Zoom using the January selection: The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry by Rachel Joyce with Lynn Graff as leader.
Our Annual meeting will be on Sunday, January 30 in the Parish Hall following the 10:00 a.m. service.
Happy New Year everyone from the ladies of ECW! 2022 is here and Covid is still here. We have had to once again cancel our Fashion Show Luncheon but will be hosting a rummage sale instead. We are accepting donations starting immediately. Please drop off your clearly marked donations in the back room of the parish hall. Valentine's Day is coming. We will be preparing Valentine Baskets to be sold the first and 2nd Sunday of February. We accept any donations of items for the baskets. Please help us make this a successful event by donating items and or purchasing a basket for your Valentine. Thank you for your support.
