Parish Announcements

Your Vestry is very pleased to welcome Andrew (Andy) Chen to The Church of the
Transfiguration as our new Choral Director. Mr. Chen is a pianist and choir director,
new to the area from Upstate New York, currently pursuing his Master's degree in
Collaborative Piano Performance at ASU. An accomplished musician, Andrew has
extensive experience working in choral settings, and is a certified K-12 music teacher
specializing in choral and vocal music education.
Welcome, Andy! We look forward to singing with you!

The Lord’s Soup Kitchen has potato/cheese/bacon soup available. Many thanks to all
of you who so faithfully donate your time and talents to make this available.

Suggested donations next week for the Food Bank are canned meat or peanut butter.

COVID Transmission rates in Pinal and Maricopa counties are HIGH. We strongly
encourage everyone to follow CDC recommendations and continue wearing a mask
in public indoor settings regardless of vaccination status. This includes wearing a mask
during indoor worship services regardless of vaccination status. Masks are available
at the back of the church.

Compline (M-F ) at 7:00 p.m.) and Morning prayer (Wed. at 9:30 a.m.) will be

meeting.

Aluminum cans and clear plastic bottles for recycling may be brought to the Parish House and left in designated bins in the garage. Plastic bags may be left in the
Narthex.

Paz de Cristo has a shower program for the homeless as well as feeding, clothing and empowerment. Hygiene products are needed for their shower ministry. Suggested
items needed are: Bath soap – Toothpaste – Toothbrushes – Deodorant - Hair brushes – Combs -Mouthwash - Feminine hygiene products - Hand sanitizer – Shampoo –
Conditioners  Donations can be left in the Narthex. Paz de Cristo has a stationary and mobile shower ministry - they team up with hairdressers and barbers to provide hair cuts also.

ECW rummage sale will be Friday March 11th and Saturday, March 12. We are accepting donations.
